Terms and Conditions
Arrival Times
All arrival times are estimates. Although we do our best to be on time and generally are, however, if we are running late, we will call and let you know.
Cancellations
We require a minimum of 24 hours notice to cancel a move. Cancellations within 24 hours of the move start time will incur a £100 + VAT fee.
Clearance
There is a minimum charge of £65 per half tonne for goods going to the tip.
Cost
There is a 2 hour minimum charge on all jobs. After 2 hours, rates are charged at ½ hour increments and 20% for VAT will be added to the cost of all work and surcharges.
Extra Fuel
Fuel charges apply when travelling outside the M25
Loss or Damage
Active Moves is fully insured however if an unfortunate accident would occur on the day of the move please contact the office and the incident will be dealt with swiftly and professionally. We accept no responsibility for loss or damage to property after 7 DAYS of the job been completed. Please notify us via email - info@activemoves.co.uk and if possible send pictures, and we will ensure the matter is dealt with smoothly and efficiently.
Parking - Parking Suspension Details
Please try to ensure that there is parking available outside of your premises on the day. Parking is to be arranged by the customer, unless arrange with us a week prior the move day. Any parking fines received will be the responsibility of the customer and must be paid by the customer on completion of the job.
If you want Active Moves to arrange this for you, please allow 2 weeks before your packing or move date and a small admin fee may apply.

Payment
Deposit will be taken before work is carried out and if any reason further money after work is completed, the driver or office will contact you to collect payment.
Our drivers are to accept debit or credit cards.
Right to refuse
We reserve the right to refuse to take any load we feel is unsafe or suitable or that has not been accurately specified before collection.
Staff Abuse
Verbal or threatening behaviour will not be tolerated. If the driver is forced to leave the job because of abuse from the customer, verbal or otherwise, the customer will still be liable to pay in full.
